Seriously tho, I, for one, never put that much thought into it. Bodybuildting stuff go brrrrrrrrrrr For that sort of thing, total reps is probably all you need to be concerned about, as long as the sets require any exertion.

ASSISTANCE lifts are a different matter, particularly if the end goal is a heavy ass 1RM. Depending on the specific assistance lift, and where in a training cycle you are, they could be done for low reps and high intensity, or as a bodybuilding type exercise like an accessory movement.

Yeah, supplemental stuff I always write down fully. For bodybuilding stuff I'll just write down the weight and reps so I can keep track of the tonnage.
