Just a reminder that unless you're doing 20 sets of these a week your shoulders will not grow

op here, I can tell you this with a fact because I know a thing or two because I am trans

holy shit I do 2 reps of this and it's so fucking difficult and painful. I had to start with 5 lbs weights (just started lifting) and over the course of the first month I got from 15 sets to 20 and did start to see results in my shoulders. A very very thin sliver of something there, but holy shit these are so fucking hard to do. It feels like it could wreck my arms too, when you get tired doing them you can feel your inner elbow muscle area struggling.

low weight, high rep

Is it normal to feel pain in one shoulder but the other being fine? I can lift my right shoulder for some reason

20 sets of 2 reps each? Wut

*I can't

I don´t do these at all. Can I do them on my cardio/abs/stretching day in between 2 upper body days? Or would that fuck with recovery?

Just do 3x/4x with drop sets after some normal shoulder lifts (db/bb ohp, arnold press) and then similar drop sets on front raises. Finish with plate/kettlebell halos and face pulls, maybe wide grip rows if you want a more defined rear delt, but a combo of those lifts and drop sets will 100% get you a shoulder pump.

Thanks I hate it

I do 6x20, twice a week…. And it’s still not enough.

Just a reminder that these are the people giving you advice here on /fit

sorry I'm retarded and new at this (as I said), I do 2 sets of 15-20 reps each set. I do 15-20 repetitions, rest, then again.

Dyel here. Why are these called lateral raises when I barely feel them in my lats?
Egyptian lateral raises I feel in my lats

Lateral refers to the direction of movement and not to the lats (latissimus dorsi).

20 sets wtf how many reps

What do you think?

>I had to start with 5 lbs weights
Bro, what? I just started too and I started them on 10, just moved up to 15 after a few weeks
3 sets of 10-12 reps once or twice a week

Post shoulders. I've never seen a natty get big shoulders from lateral raises.

If you ain't pressin', you ain't progressin'

Damn that nigga got tiny dik

>2 sets
Bruh what are these? Gains for ants?

Wait hold the fuck up.
Everyone does at least 4-6 sets with 8-14 reps right?
You do want gains, RIGHT?
