you won't get sick but you might have a TERRIBLE hangover. Good vodka brings imperceptible hangovers
t. recovering alcoholic
Who the fuck told you low priced alcohol will make you sick?
They're a fucking moron.
They wouldn't be allowed to sell their alcohol for drinking if it made people sick.
Retard.
99% of the difference between expensive spirits and cheap spirits is marketing anyways
I drank a bottle of taaka over the course of a week when I was 16, it just burns. You won't get sick, put it in the freezer to chill it or just use a fatty chaser like milk or tea and it's fine
>They wouldn't be allowed to sell their alcohol for drinking if it made people sick.
90% of food in america is posion and the governemt does nOT care about the health of its citizens
>t. recovering alcoholic
Evidently an alcoholic who has never been drunk in his life.
Don't listen to this sub room temp IQ shitstain.
ETHANOL causes hangovers, that is the alcohol part of alcohol causes hangovers, not the other shit.
All ethanol is exactly the same.
If this shit for brains does drink then he's probably so stupid he thought "it costs half as much so I'll drink twice as much!" then blamed the alcohol for his hangover not his retarded self
Well it’s less filtered and probably worse equipment / manufacturing tolerances in general so will have more contaminants I think is the logic.
Like tiny trace amounts of methanol and shit, won’t hurt you but will give a bad hangover
You know the whole reason moonshine is illegal is because it contains methanol and commercial alcohol doesn't... right?
All alcohol contains methanol it’s just a by product of fermentation it makes sense that cheaper alcohol will be less pure
Methanol is removed via distillation, if you do it right
Yeah that’s my point the cheap shit is distilled fewer times
>thinks all vodkas are made equal
can't wait for summer to be over
lmao no. Home distillation in the states is not illegal in small quantities. The reason moonshining is illegal is tax reasons, not health reasons. The government since the end of prohibition makes wheelbarrows full of tax money from sin taxes, and you making it yourself is illegal because they can't rob you as easily. The same would be the case if you grow your own tobacco.
In my time as an alcoholic i can definitely say you shouldn't spend less than $15 on a regular bottle of vodka. Any less than that and you're going to seriously regret it.
Methanol's boiling point is significantly lower than ethanol. As long as you get rid of the stuff distilled prior to ethanol boiling off you shouldn't have any issues. The main issue with shit vodkas is cheap companies cutting the liquor with shit you don't want to drink, not missing it in distillation.
Don't drink it bud, please
Depends in which country you live and how well it enforces the regulations. In general, it does sometimes happen that instead of "ethanol" you get some sort of poison from an underground factory.
Popov tastes great
You're gonna have to try them but from my experience if you pay around 30-40% more than the absolute cheapest vodka you can get you will probably get a half decent bottom shelf one that will taste fine and not give you bad hangovers.
Why would user choose to shitpost about all alcoholic drinks being the same. very strange
what kind of bourgeoisie upbringing leads you to believe bottom shelf vodka will make you sick?
Drink it, OP. It's fine.
