Would the Greeks have been less gay if their women worked out too?
Spartan women did, and if i recall correctly Spartans were the least gay Greeks so your theory holds weight. The problem was that ripped women made that Sparta turn into simpcity and they held a major part of wealth and land in their hands.
Is this a motivation thread?
Also
>Their entire leisure time was composed of working out and getting gay over how hot their bods were in the Mediterranean sun
I hate how accurate this feels, because I cannot stop touching and fondling my own chest these days.

How do you enter the ancient greek diet? I'm bonglish so I have no idea. I like the idea but I live alone so I don't typically cook elaborate meals, I just eat eggs, steak, chicken canned fish and fruit.
lots of fish vegetables and legumes
meat twice a week tops mostly lamb or chicken
white cheese, yoghurt, eggs, barley ruskseveryday
never use butter only olive oil
its why all those northern women come to italy, spain or greece on vacation to "find themselves" with literal 5/10 subhumans, but will blow off attractive smart and educated guys in their countries
Depends on where in Greece.
Sparta, for instance, ate a lot more wild pig than the other city-states.
checked and thanks. I suppose you get most of your protein from eggs and fish on the med diet. I'm surprised to read they eat meat that infrequently but I am looking for a change and to do a bit of proper cooking. I might even try my hand at making the pigs blood stew the spartans are famous for at some point.
Just looking for a healthy non fad diet where it's possible to have energy and have a balanced lean and lithe physique, much more like a greek statue than a powerlifter.
Glad to see more people discovering the way to make it.
I am a Mediterranean guy, I mainly train boxing and Muay Thai, with calisthenics and free weights whenever I can, I try to schedule my workout like the ancient Greeks did.
I divide the workout in 4 parts:
First: Warm up, get your muscles moving, do some light cardio (for example I do shadow boxing)
Second: the hard physical training, this time is when I work the muscles hard, squats, bench press, weighted pushups, dips and barbell rows. I vary the training order and exercises depending on the day
Third: I do my technical workout, generally 1 hour of boxing or Muay Thai
Fourth: to end the workout, I take a really hot shower, followed by a really cold one, then, I meditate and do some breathing exercises for around 10 minutes (remember, Mens Sana in Corpore Sano)
Hope this way of training helps someone, it definitely does the trick for me.
>emulating ancient greek/roman diet
>0 mention of wheat and barley
Barley was for low class scum.
If you are a coastal fag I would just go for the fresh fish diet desu
I am Greek myself and I eat fresh fish almost exclusively during summer, sits better with the heat, it's light, more than enough for protein intake plus you dont have to bother with cooking, just drizzle olive oil oregano lemon juice and pop it to the oven for 30-40 mins tops
You wont miss meat trust me.
Fish for lunch or dinner?
