The difference between mRNA and non mRNA is simply your immune system response... it just makes it so that the effect is more successful but you could very well take a non mRNA vaccine and get the same result the only difference is the immune system will fight it harder. Both vaccines will still end up getting the job done, mRNA is just more efficient and will get it done faster.
