This is very true, all the good flavor is on the charred outside (it's also the part that gives you cancer). The ideal way to cook meat is briefly over a wood fire after cutting it in thin strips.

So you like eating charcoal and not steak. What the fuck is wrong with you. The best way to eat steak is to wash it very well, soak in vinegar for 1 hour at room temperate. Brown each side on high heat. Steak should be done in 5 minutes at most. Should be red on the inside, but warm. Learn to fucking cook.
