Has anyone here tried a deprivation tank? What's it like? Thinking about trying it out.

i don't wanna tempt death
it was a fun hour. was fun imagining that i was floating in the dead sea, because of the high buoyancy
didn't ever have the urge to do it again
Would it be a fun thing to try though? At least once? I wanna try it but I'm kind of chicken.
only utmost retarded normies can't tank this, your average autist can spend hours in his head without spazzing out since its all he has been doing his antisocial life
Delete this, please!
Have a good night sir thank you.
I'd recommend but probably worth practicing mediation first. You can have some mild hallucinations, sort of classic psychedelic closed-eye visuals type stuff, but sometimes it's just restful and you might fall asleep. Just go in with measured expectations and you'll have a good time user
Joe rogan pls go
Interesting.
Can't wait to pretend to be a fish in a tank. Thanks user.
No I can't. Anything that deprives me of my vision is satan I absolutely cannot put up with it without having a total meltdown.
that makes you a below average autist unfortunately
What are you afraid of? If you don't like it you can just get out
I have so many fucking flash lights.
yes, worth doing once.
nothing to be afraid of, maybe clarify?
it's interesting being in such an unstimulated environment
pitch black and silent (other than your splashing if you move)
aww, you scared of the dark user?
>What's it like?
Like laying in a warm salty bath in the dark. Relaxing. Expensive. Your skin will feel like loli butt afterwards.
Wear goggles or sunglasses to avoid getting the salt water in your eyes.
Imagine how overstimulated your minds are daily, the "average" mental stimulus is sky high and sometimes closely similar to what war veterans experience.
If you know anyone in your family that's gone through days to weeks of combat without "switching up" with other soldiers for a pause, you know exactly what I'm talking about.
Once you manage to finally get out of the city without phones or internet, this constant mental stimulation crashes and might experience both something life saving or something else entirely I could imagine
The magnesium salt in the tank water is partially what makes it so relaxing, and you'll sleep like a baby the night after a session. Most people are deficient in magnesium as it's difficult to absorb it from food, but signs include bruxism, those twitchy muscle spasms, anxiety etc. I don't pay for the isolation tank, but I do have Epsom salt baths at home every so often.
Just watch out for salt residue being left in your ears afterwards, it can last for days if you don't use earplugs or rinse out with vinegar.
Yeah. I have crippling ADHD. This shit would be easy.
its great for recovery
I’m going to make one. I need esoteric floating gains.
