They secretly have humiliation fetishes and want to stay fat. That's what the keto cult is.

weight loss, sure. although with that diet what you're losing is 80% muscle,20% fat

you don't lose muscle that easily unless you're not working out and low carb diets are particularly inconducive to working out because working out without carbs is miserable, it's primarily a diet for obese people who cut but don't train.

wouldn't eating carbs while losing weight actually HELP to preserve muscle since your body uses the carbs you're eating instead of protein in your diet or muscles for glucose?

No one denys that at the end of the day it's CICO. Gimmick diets are about maximising CO while making CI less of a willpower ballache test.

The point is that the whole "hurr it lowerth your inthulin" that ketofats spew is all lies. They lose weight because they eat less calories, easy to do when you consider that most hyperpalatable foods are carbs

>while making CI less of a willpower ballache test.
This

This. People are unwilling to listen, though.

Except that the guy was also drinking protein shakes and eating vegetables and multivitamins (word of his)

And he was also paid by Coca-Cola (word of Coca-Cola)

>No one denys
One guy denies it and he posts all day every day its amazing that his family still supports him

Meds

that much protein can't be good for your liver first. second we're human and a fulfilling meal like pasta with vegetables and hot sauce isn't just something you say no to

Do what ever makes you feel good.
My body hates processed food. Simple as.
Also our siciety doesn't know anymore how to listen to your body.
Fuck that professor for promoting unhealthy food.

that too, but cutting AND not having carbs to fuel your workouts is a particularly miserable combination and causes many people to fail on their diets, hence it's mostly used by those that are just cutting and not really training, they've got no muscle mass to lose anyway.

keto primarily works because it's extremely limiting and most of the foods you're still able to eat aren't that fun anymore after a week.

Jason Fung is not a credible source. The man said that exercise doesn't help you lose weight. He's a retarded gook that should have his medical license taken away, just Shawn "Roid Rage on Twitter" Baker

>Source: my rectal cavity

>that too, but cutting AND not having carbs to fuel your workouts is a particularly miserable combination
This this this. There is a very low population of people that can actually synthesize fat well enough to train hard without carbs (most of them are roiders, oddly enough).
>keto primarily works because it's extremely limiting and most of the foods you're still able to eat aren't that fun anymore after a week.
This is also why most people that do it balloon back up nearly instantly

Not just carbs, carbs mixed with fat. I love raspberries but I'm not going to binge eat 2000 calories of them. But make those raspberries into a 2000 calorie milkshake...

acute =/= chronic

by the same logic, drugs are not bad for you in any way shape or form because they make you feel really good and some of them improve performance. Since we aren't considering what drugs do over time in this scenario, there is nothing but benefit to using them.

True. It's like either going Proton + Carb or Proton + Fat is ideal for keeping satiety high. Some combination of the two is prob good for cutting. High fat brekkie, high carb post workout dinner etc

>pasta with veggies and hot sauce
I just heard the sound of a million Italian nonnas turning in their graves.

Yeah dieting isn't hard when you avoid the foods that make you want to binge. Once you realize it's the fats+carbs combo that unlocks the gates it's easy to eat smart instead of hard.
