What's wrong with doing extended fasts to cut?

I used to be a lard and did a lot of 3-4 day fasts to help me lose weight.

Now I'm about 20% BF and want to get lean for a pool party July 2nd. What's wrong with doing something like two 7 day fasts between now and then? Won't that just be like one of the fastest ways to lose fat possible, especially if I do cardio during?

The metabolic down regulation is a result of prolonged deficit and any study indicating otherwise for 'fasting' was instead a ~350 cal diet
Actual fasting is quite the opposite scenario

Keep fasting and do light exercise with a nice supplement stack
If you want to lose more weight and want to something more dangerous do a dry fast and use sauna for a death fast sparingly

Muscle is maintained much more easily with fasting because your important healthy cells enter into a protected state that prevents them from being broken down. This, in combination with your Growth Hormone being increased by as much as 3x-12x while fasting, prevents muscle wasting. A ridiculous deficit with a high in protein diet would be better IMO.
I would keep ultra simple the diet.
For example
>Breakfast 250grams of Cottage cheese
>Lunch 500 grams of Cottage cheese
>Dinner 250 grams of Cottage cheese
Add a banana pre training.
This would be a 1500kcal deficit approx which would be insane but you wont probably lose much muscle mass,you will be stupidly tired tho.

Me again,dont do this, just do a normal diet and keep losing a little bit of weight every week,its better on the long run.

fast right up until 2 days before then dehydrate and carb load. like for a bodybuilding show. if you fast that long while moving you’ll definitely drop a load of fat and then the carb load a few hours before will make your muscles look pumped.

Great way to crash your fucking metabolism and regain it all by binge eating when you're done.

Do like a 36h dry fast (like a bodybuilder before a show) before the party. After showing off in the pool you out your shirt on and drink an eat like normal

Not op, but similar scenario.
Lost 32lbs with a diet with a hardcore deficit, gained like 5lbs back over a few months.
Now I need to get slimmer, need to lose about 30lbs in a few months.
Anons, what do? Hardcore deficit of about 900cal or just fasting often?

Fasting lowers hunger. People that lose weight with diet and exercise gain it back literally 80%-99.9% of the time. It doesn't work. Do fasting and the weight will stay off forever. Don't eat in a deficit. Just don't eat at all. Drink fucking snake juice (google it). You'll lose weight fast as fuck and keep it off
