I ski in winter and swim in summer but those arent as draining

I like cardio but fuck running and other repetitive boring shit. I rather do a hiit cardio class, it's way more intense/effective and trains all your body.
Reminder: the good cardio is the one that exhausts you, just like the good lift is the one that sores your muscles

I do 50 minutes on the treadmill every day, been doing it for the past week, and even though I'm still 230 pounds, I ran down the block and back and didn't get out of breath. Feelsgood.

Then you are jogging too fast I think. Start by walking for a couple of minutes to warm up, then increase the speed and start walking faster. After 10 minutes if you are not out of breath, which you shouldn't be, start jogging very slowly, a little faster than walking. After 5 minutes if you are not out of breath increase the speed a little. Find you sweet spot and run at that level. You shouldn't be out of breath doing cardio, but you should be breathing heavily. Or get yourself one of those devices that measure heart rate and use it if you are not sure how fast you should run.
