Count calories, all of them.
Eat about 500-1000 less calories than your TDEE.
Buy scales, be accurate.
Learn to cook. Try to stick to lean protein and green vegetables.
Eat a lot of protein. 1g per lb of goal lean body mass.
Doing cardio, even just walking, will improve your health. There is no such thing as a healthy fat heart, but you can offset the risks.
Lifting weights will keep and gain muscle mass and burn fat much quicker. No lifting results in the body burning away muscle AND fat.
Drink more water.

Eat refined sugars, they're terrible for you regardless of calories.
Eat processed foods.
Drink your calories (alcohol, soda, starbucks).
Freak out over a weight loss stall. Plateaus can last up to three weeks.
"Reward" yourself. Cheat days cheat only yourself.

I've been struggling with breaking past 99kgs border, I can get to 98kg after fasting but I regain it immediately the next day.

doctor said i had a little fat on my liver but i'm all good. now im even more motivated but im not gonna go lower than 220 lbs because I've been skinny so many times I don't wanna go there anymore

Also my doctor told me to see cardiologist, I've been struggling with blood pressure and she diagnosed me with stage 1 hypertension. I'm 21, 180cm and I weight 99kgs. Is it normal for such BMI, so I have a chance of fixing the problem by losing it or is it genetic? (my dad has problems with hypertension as well)

I set myself 5 kg goals, and today was the first time I got below 115 kgs in years. I've been around 120 kgs, while struggling to get below 117 for some reason. Always bounced back, sometimes to even more than 120 kgs. Yes I'm still fat, but I'm making progress for the first time in years. We're all gonna make it bros

not really? at least not since I found out that fruit and especially berries are god tier weight loss food. I eat tons of berries now, they are fun to eat and I lose weight quite quickly.

This I was miserable until I realized that you can eat a fuck ton of fruits without needing to worry about calories

im 109 and I started my journey at 115 but Im nor sure on how much weight I should lose since all my clothes are the biggest commercial size xxl(xxxl is too rare) my goal now is 5kg and that's my total goal so from then ill maintain amd just get stronger. maybe I should change my diet up a bit then, maybe I'm eating the same stuff too much. then again how can you eat sugar while dieting? if i eat sugar I end up getting hungry and eating too much

Idk man getting lean i.e. losing love handles and gut is a fucking mission, I've lost 15lbs and my gut and love handles only look marginally better, it's demoralizing. at this rate I'm like another 20lbs away from being lean, losing 15lbs took 3 months and getting to my goal from here will only take even longer than that. fuck this shit

Poor people are poor because they make poor choices, don't take control over their own lives, incline towards immediate gratification, etc.

If you get to normal weight within a year then you're doing great.
Dieting creates discipline with food. Something you need in order to maintain a healthy weight. It's good that it's taking a little longer than you anticipated because that will hardwire those lifestyle changes into your psyche

Thanks man. I'm only 173 cm, so I need to lose about 45 more kgs before I reach my target weight, perhaps even more. It's a demoralizing number, hence the 5 kg goals.

yes i saw that. that's so smart. david blaine achieved to hold his breath for 20 minutes with always saying 5 more minutes after that passed and then 5 more minutes. That's how I do cardio for an hour. I try to get 20 minutes done and then again 20 minutes. I totally overlooked one could do the same with losing weight.
