I used to play it a lot when it came out. At the time I had to walk to several places per day and played it during. Besides, a small community formed in my area when the raids and boss fights started and it was kinda fun, but then there was a lot of bickering and shit and I quit altogether. I though everyone stopped playing long ago.

I have been playing on and off since release. as in, I'll typically play for a few months then forget about it for 1-2 years. I've been on it more lately cuz I've been biking and it's fun to track the kilometers and get the rewards and stuff. part of the draw for me and probably lots of people is that it encourages going outside. thats what irks me about these >people. if you don't like exercising just play a different game, just cuz the couch conforms to your fat ass doesn't mean everything else has to

I went on a 14-1 GBL streak in the Great League with Swampert-Altaria-Registeel. My Registeel is double moved with Zap Cannon and Focus Blast but I KO all three of the other team’s mons with just Swampert and Altaria in almost half my battles.

I was honestly surprised about this, it seems like it'd be way easier and satisfying to just make a watered down version of the actual game combat instead of gay ATB with only 2 moves

it was better when it didn't have any combat at all. it's not meant to be a pokemon game, it's meant to be an exercise game.

Triple-AAA games have been shit for well over a decade. Indie games are 99.9% trash but the 0.1% makes it worth it. I'm actually glad for the state of games as I do lot more non-vidya stuff nowadays.
