Gonna ROON in a local cemetery once I get off work, sounds weird but it’s a peaceful place with miles and miles of barely used roads
Roon in peace user
Not weird at all as long as there’s not a funeral actively happening or you’re trampling over everybody’s graves
Got my new shoes yesterday :3
Running week is pretty much lift/run split. So 3/4 times; 10km each run.
No races planned. But Ill do London-Brighton by myself early autumn.
Don't really need any advice, but thank you.
Some days I can run for 30 min with no walking, and twice I've run for 1 hour with less than 10x 30s walks when tired.
Speed is like, 9 to 10 kmph (9.5 min mile) so not fast.
Goal is to burn calories, and to be able to run. I'm not a runner per se but humans should run.
How much rest / practice / weeks do I need to run 1 hour daily with no stops?
>Tried to run a long run today but got to just under 20 min and 3.5 k and had to bail because the espresso made my heart painful 10 min in fug

what are some bodyweight exercises to support running, specifically for legs? lunges? squats? cooming?
What is usually your limiting factor? Muscles, ligaments/joints or fatigue?
Hit sub 20 on the 5k for the first time ever bros.
19:43 according to my watch
I'm gonna keep rooooning and there's nothing you guys can do about it.
Fuck yea good job
How did you do it?
Have a 4th of July run planned, trying to put in those miles.

How do you balance running and weight lifting? I feel like one of those always suffers.
Well done m8. Im struggeling to get my sub 40 10k. Easily manage it on a treadmill but on the road its a different beast.
Yes, lunges and squats, weighted lunges are good. Also moving drills like high knees and other mobility exercizes to work out things like hip muscles and the IT band which if ignored can lead to injuries down the road
It’s boring but you could probably do it on an outdoor track. 25 laps, you can keep accurate splits so you know when you’re going too fast and when you’re lagging.
Will give it a go for sure. In the long run I may invest in one of these watches that keep track of pace/heart rate etc. Do these help or is it a meme?
which shoes did you get?
Kinvara 12. Like it a lot.
Gonna get back into the swing of things in June, any tips for lowering mile time?
I tried running again. Again I'm getting nagging pain on the inside of my ankle. Never happened to me when I ran on grass but apparently the meme about sidewalks fucking up your joints is true after all.
Thanks bros, I'm really buzzing
I was dealing with an injury so didn't run for about 2 months, started again last week with easy runs and everything felt great.
Decided to test where my fitness was at today and started out at 4 min/km pace to see how long I could hold it and just kept going.
Just before my injury I ran a 20:11 though and I have lost about 4 kg during the 2 months off as well because of fasting.
So it's probably due to the weight loss and proper pacing this time around.
