not all cardio is equally bad. Long distance/endurance is worse than sprinting. He mentions that the environment you run through makes a difference; forcing yourself to run through some bland, ugly concrete shithole is worse for you than running through a beautiful and interesting landscape. running in general is estrogenic anyway so whatever.
Dr Peat also praises concentric exercise as extremely beneficial and regenerative for the body.
LISS Cardio over long periods (hours) is factually catabolic and extremely damaging to hormones. He is pro concentric exercise which includes lifting or hiking/sprinting uphill because it repairs cells and is more efficient in an energy expenditure to benefits ratio. This is supported by literally all of the literature including concentric sled exercises hastening recovery after surgeries and minimizing scar tissue.
Long distance running is only thought to be healthy by people who don't exercise or know anything about exercise. It's something my obese grandma who never lifted a finger would think is healhty.

I've picked up a few Peaty things and feeling pretty good.
Bacon and eggs for breakfast fried in beef tallow.
Coffee with coconut oil, honey, whole milk, beef gelatin. 100% pure OJ. 150mg of aspirin daily. Total avoidance of PUFA where possible.
Skin has improved, way more calm and relaxed despite increased caffeine intake, better energy in the gym, harder boners, better sleep, WARM HANDS (a revelation for me after having chronically freezing hands).
I haven't gone all in on this shit but I like what I've changed so far.
