>What do I do first?
1. Read physiqonomics.com/fat-loss/
2. Calculate your Body Fat Percentage: fitness.bizcalcs.com/Calculator.asp?Calc=Body-Fat-Navy
3. Calculate your TDEE: sailrabbit.com/bmr/
Remember to use bodyfat% and use Katch-McArdle Formula with sedentary settings or your TDEE will be too high.
4. Plan your weight loss: losertown.org/eats/cal.php
5. Track your nutrition with MyFitnessPal (better for packaged food), Cronometer (better for generic food/macros) or LoseIt (great for both).

>Now what?
Count calories, all of them.
Eat about 500-1000 less calories than your TDEE.
Buy scales, be accurate.
Learn to cook. Try to stick to lean protein and green vegetables.
Eat a lot of protein. 1g per lb of goal lean body mass.
Doing cardio, even just walking, will improve your health. There is no such thing as a healthy fat heart, but you can offset the risks.
Lifting weights will keep and gain muscle mass and burn fat much quicker. No lifting results in the body burning away muscle AND fat.
Drink more water.

I really like these ducks and nuns images

Started carnivore today. Had salmon, sausage, egg, and cheese.

Post-fatties, how do I fix my fat personality?

Everyone I meet can tell I used to be fat from the way I act around them. I just for the life of me can't build confidence.

>tfw more cardio gains
I think I'm now in a better shape than I have ever been
The bar is low however, I basically have been sedentary all my life until 3 months ago

>sausage
>cheese
oh no no no

Zero carb senpai

>weight plateaued for a week, despite eating a 1,100-1,300 deficit
>suddenly lost 2.5lbs over the last 3 days
I hate how deceitful water weight can be on a scale.

stay fat ketolard

Why do you care about your weight so much ?
You should focus on BF percentage and the size of your waist at navel, and generally how your belly looks.
Taking creatine will plateau your weight, but only because it increases water storage in your muscles for example. You're still getting leaner

Because I'm obese and measuring fractions of a percentage is less easy than seeing my numbers go down when stepping on a scale.

Based. Definitely gonna make it.

I've been mostly carnivore for a while.

Why do you get so emotionally upset when anyone tries the scientifically proven best diet?

What is the motivation behind your hostility?

>scientifically proven

Don't get it been going to the gym everyday for over 2 weeks cardio, and weights. But I'm not only up 2 lbs, according to the fancy electric scale my mom bought, I'm down in muscle and up in fat. I've been eating at maintenance if not slightly below. Any anons have any idea why this could be occurring?

>1 month since dieting
>1 week since starting lifting
>no results in the mirror

buy some Bluetooth BF% scale, they come with an app that automatically tracks your progress in terms of BF% loss. this should keep you motivated fren
>oink oink my fat sausage calorie bombs don't matter because no carbs !!!
>calorie deficit
might be why, faggot
The thing is, it only works when you have a calorie deficit, and stuffing yourself with shit-tier food like cheese or sausages will hinder your progress.

You're eating too much

Are you tracking what you eat?

if you're unironically stopping cause of that then you're never gonna make it unless you stop being a little bitch

>192500 calories to go
>385 days on a deficit

Fuck. Never gonna make it.

Not tracking, just doing the calcs in my head and I'm under 2000 most days. 5'9" and 187lbs. About 27% bf.
I just get how I'm losing muscle too, if I'm over eating shouldn't I also be gaining muscle like bulking?

NOOOO THATS NOT HOW IT WORKS!!!!

very nice, wagmi
