why aren't you running yet? You need to start working on your cardio NOW if you want to get good times on the summer marathon races.

went for a chilled 8 mile run this morning, felt good

Ran about 20 km yesterday. Went for a 7k with a pal today as well. Looking forward to the spring running.

That is not a runners physique op

how2get sub 5 min mile? ran a 1mile TT picrelated was my time. 400m splits were:

>92s
>85s
>89s
>73s

I kicked really hard at the end because I started off at a 3:40 min/km pace and had the energy. I wonder if it's a case of going on more easy runs to improve my aerobic capacity

Is it advisable to do cardio if I'm bulking? I'm eating at a decent surplus where I'm seeing slight weight gain, maybe like 0.5-1.0 lbs per week. I want to build muscle but at the same time I want to be a lean machine

I've been having nagging knee pain on and off for the last 2 years, and it only gets worse when I run. Should I get my gait analyzed to see where the imbalances are?

I thought running was a meme until I actually did it and OP is right. You feel so much better warming up with a 2-3 mile run then subsequently destroying your lifts.

yes, you should do cardio while bulking. just do it on rest days. ez.

I always posted: ''/DYEL/general" in these threads, but I've been rooning for 2 years now and I am bigger and better than ever.

Same bro. Good looks my boy. WAGMI

Good ship OP, been training for my boxing by doing 9 miles each day. Love running

Run 5ks. The easiest way to improve your times isn't to try to run the distance you want, faster, but to run a longer distance at your current time. Once you get good at that, you'll then be able to run a short distance at a faster time.

decided to get Any Forums this week, started n2r currently on exercise 3 feels good. Gonna start going gym so i can do one day gym one day run. Have meeting with instructor tommorow kinda scared since I read his bio it says he's a Grit specialist which kind of worries me since that shit looks intense, should i bother with meeting the intructor or just do SS? Also, ran in heavy rain this morning felt nice

Is jogging in place an ok alternative for when I can't go out if it's rainy for example?
I know it's an excuse but fuck the rain.

Have a 5K race Sunday. Going for sub 18 but its gonna be so fucking cold

There’s a study that says sprinting is the best form of burning off belly fat than any other cardio. Is that true? I was taught that spot reduction isn’t real

I recently started running again using an approach similar to C25K. I can now run continuously for 25 minutes, gonna try 28 minutes tomorrow morning brehs.

I'm not really sure about sprinting, but I hit a plateau in my weight loss and I broke through it when I started walking and running regularly.

Just buy a light water-proof jacket

Thanks, I’ll share something with you on this since it sounds too good to be true

running in the rain is the best

you can't target fat loss
