Take the dumbbell pill

>beginners wasting a shit ton of money on gym clubs and meme machines
>don't realise all you need to start lifting is a pair of cheap adjustable dumbbells

Dumbells definitely have their place and I'd advise people just starting to lift to exclusively do home-based for 3 or 4 months. But the gym has a fuck ton of other equipment like cages and barbells that let you lift as heavy as you possibly could.

Dumbells are great for developing stabilisation musclesHR

That's the thing, you have a LOT of progress to be made simply with dumbbells at home, when you start from scratch. You can get in decent shape just using them and adding on weight as your performance improves.
Begineers pay a shit ton of money for a gym subscription, do pointless shit with meme machines or try to do barbell bench press with too much weight, fail/get injured, get demoralised and leave forever.

got the bitches catching feelings

agreed + get a heavy kettlebell for swings and goblet squats

>be me
>chilling in town, after a good workout
>beautiful day
>scribing redpills on scroll whilest snacking on some onions
>thinking about my afternoon walk with a lit lantern
>"Look its user!"
>herewefuckinggo.jpg
>"Oh god user whats that smell?"
>thinking maybe if I explain that onions increase testosterone and no bath is actually more healthy they will take me more seriously
>"Good god, throw some rose petals on him, might help with the smell"
>mfw they dont know rose petals raises estrogen and lowers testosterone
>"Are you writing your weird comedy thingies and stuff?"
>T-these are not comedies i-
>"Look its anons family hahaha" says the older one
>points at 3 dogs stacked,fucking each other
>"user please, stop living like this, what are you trying to achieve? You are just suffering, and living with mutts is just disgusting, just come live with us in our mansion"
>listen here you fucking whore, you dont understand a thing about my alpha lifestyle, first off living in a mansion is beta as fuck, here I get maximum sunlight, vit d all over my bo D. Get it?Ofcourse you fucking dont brainlet skanks.Secondly thats my family, you are trashing,so be respectful, because I am the alpha dog and will send them to fuck your corpse. Thirdly, suffering is making me alpha as fuck compared to your weak husbands.
and lasly get the fuck away you are blocking the sun, and stop pissing me off or I swear to god ill smear my shit all over you and join in on my family jenga stack.
>they leave
>think about how im going to inscribe this into the gymnasium wall

cringe

I'm not reading all that.

>shit ton of money on gym
>£40 a month
the social aspect of going to the gym is worth it alone

>the social aspect of having to cope with dirty nigs/jeets, dirty machines, getting vaxxed (in some countries) and women spending half their time there using their phone
£40 a month is a shit ton of money compared to buying a pair of adjustable dumbbells for less than £100 that will last you forever and that you can resell anyway

The only thing you need to get started as a beginner is yourself + gravity + solid ground

>"Look its anons family hahaha" says the older one
>points at 3 dogs stacked,fucking each other
Alright, fuck it, I laughed

just found 10 minute dumbbell routines: youtube.com/c/ToluOshonowo/search?query=10 min

Adjustable dumbells are a pain in the ass and will demotivate anyone starting out. Also you can't add enough weight on them for many exercises.
Just go to the gym you autist

Let me guess… you’re 5’6

how the fuck are they a pain in the ass ? it's literally the same thing as a barbell, only smaller

>where i live is 97% white
>not fighting the government if you need a vax pass
>caring what women do in the gym
>£40 a month in any way a shit ton of money
>being able to actually get big with a couple of dumbbells
I stand by my point. Actually leaving the house, training with real friends and socialising with gym acquaintances is worth not 'saving' pennies each month

The only pills I’m poppin are these red subarus if you catch my drift

You're either a big man and have forgotten than 15kg each dumbell for something like OHP or Curls is a goal for a lot of people, or you're a fat fuck trolling.

Either way you're wrong

>Feel the inspiration in my bones
>Never touched a dumbbell in my life
>Can't straighten my arm without intense pain after two days of curls
Fug

It’s not the same. Especially for legs

>15kg dumbbell each arm OHP
>goal
I dont care about weightlifting numbers but thats just silly

>ughh the roasties are being roastoids near me

>what are calisthenics but holding a dumbbell
So what ? If you don't feel pain, it means what you're doing is useless.
lots of people's upper body muscles are very weak to start with, fatties only have a strong lower body
