>says you must reduce endotoxin >provides no real discernable method to do just (because there is none) >"bro grate a carrot and eat it with salt and vinegar it will reduce endotoxin absorption because... IT JUST WILL! OK?"
Ray Peat is a piss and shit oil shill and his diet advice will destroy you. Don't be surprised when your pancreas kicks the bucket and you turn into a type 2 diabetic at the age of 45 with 20% bf like cool bro, you look good but now your endocrine system is fucked because you're a retard lmao
He’s never applied any of his theories to clinical trial in the 50 years he has been preaching them.
Jacob Reyes
peatards believe you should avoid foods that "feed endotoxin" like starches and fiber. also take antibiotics to sterilise your gut because endotoxin is produced by bacteria
Christian Kelly
larry david pls go
Wyatt Myers
been getting deep into peater twitter last couple of weeks, most are just BAPschizos but some of them seem alright. don't understand all the supplementation though, and the ray peat forum is fucking bonkers
Aaron White
That carrot recipe sounds kinda good
Benjamin Gomez
His views on sugar are borderline retarded but the rest isn’t half bad. No sneed oils, eat liver, orange juice good, etc
Ethan Parker
what the fuck are endotoxins? will they kill my gains?
>His views on sugar are borderline retarded how so?
Grayson Martin
I think that's his sterile gut hypothesis comes into play but I'd never do that shit. I do like the broad applications of his theories like eating (real) food that tastes good in contrast to people telling you kale is a superfood but it tastes like actual poison so you're just believing nameless "experts" and cronometer.
My current diet is a mixture of heavy animal products (some might call it carnivore) with the carb sources being potato, OJ and dairy. I don't get blood tests done because I'm not sick but I feel more aggressive with this. >fatty red muscle meat cooked rare, trying to minimize crispy shit >small dose of daily organ meat with milk >orange juice since it's just oranges which are already the fruit that's most dense with nutrients. It's also doesn't actually spike your blood sugar that much it's medium GI, lower than every cooked starch. >egg shell powder for minerals >homemade bone broth (pressure cook bones for 5-8 hours) for gelatin and more minerals >sunny side up eggs to avoid oxidizing the MUFA and PUFA in egg yolk and maintaining the cholesterol >coconut oil as my cooking base since it's almost all saturated fat which makes it a good base to overload with omega 6 >carrot salad or chunky carrot soup just to keep the gut moving. >potatoes because I simply enjoy homemade coconut french fries Carbing up on rice always made me feel tired as shit. There was no way it was boosting my gym performance like the broscience says.
Ray Peat is so fucking wrong about lactic acid. His theories would imply yogurt drinkers are all sickly people that die at 60 years old when it's one of the most common centenarian meals along with cheese. His fan forum is filled with retarded schizos that drink 8 cups coffee a day, don't eat solid food and then complains about being low energy. Also supplements don't do anything and if you go there you're going to get tricked into buying dozens.
Thomas James
Peat is a cook but insulin resistance is caused primarily by a saturated fat and a caloric surplus.
Sugar on the contrary improves insulin signalingz
Easton Turner
people who hate Ray Peat live in denial, because if he were true, they would have to cook for themselves and not eat mcdonalds every day :)
Ayden Myers
ray doesn't like supplements except very few and targeted
ray also loves cheese so not sure how but i am sure his lactic acid theory takes into account cheese
Camden Gray
I'm not referring to his diet causing insulin resistance. I'm referring to his diet destroying your pancreas by forcing it to squeeze out insulin 24/7.
Thomas Peterson
He thinks diabetics just need to eat MORE sugar.
Eli Ward
I'm really just talking about the forums which are schizo central. There was one guy that was literally only feeding his mentally ill brother coffee, a bit of milk and orange juice and the faggots responding were telling him to "try a b2 supplement"
Brandon Reed
...
Jason Moore
*to NOT overload with omega 6
Asher James
If you eat cooked starch like "healthy" brown rice, sweet potatoes and all that you're still getting an insulin response. It's not specific to sugar, they both end up the same way. In fact, the fruits are lower on the insulin response which is proven with the insulin index. Uncooked starch is just simply indigestible so it's not worth mentioning. The idea that starch is healthier than sugar is pure social conditioning "sweet potatoes so healthy yum yum mmm whole grain pasta" foodstruct.com/insulin-index-chart-food-list
