Hit lmao250lbs yesterday but i need to drop 40 lbs and work on getting glute and hamstring activation, right now it feels like my back does 100% of the lift from liftoff to lockout and j know it shouldn't

Closed system, 1.5kg, doesnt matter if they fly or not, never post that pic again, say hello to Mr. Lizard!

SHUT THE FUCK UP BEFORE YOU START A 300+ CHAIN OF REPLIES JUST BECAUSE YOU'RE RERARDED

220kg sumo, 222.5 kg conventional

i legit have trouble understanding this. yea the system is closed, but the flies aren't applying any pressure with their weight to the scale. i'm confused

They aren't applying the force directly via legs, but via the air

based

6 plates for a double, I’m dreaming of finally reaching lmao300kgs but as a not obese natty that’s still far away

>flies flap their wings to stay in the air
>create downward wind
>wind applies force to glass
>glass applies force to scale
>force is equal to the lift needed for the flies to fly which is their weight

This is of course and oversimplification since flies dont just push air down and airflow is turbulent etc. but this is basically how it works.
Imagine a giant industrial fan that is able to push itself up in the air hovering over a scale. The scale would not show zero

IT'S MISTER LIZARD!!

thanks for the explanation broskies

I was at 465 before quarantine hit and kept me from the gym for a long as time. Building back up now.

I hit 200kg recently too. Feels good man. Can't wait to work my way up to a 5pl8 diddy

Newbie here. I tried to figure out my 1RM yesterday which I approximated to be 100kg due to how much I usially lifted for reps but my grip strength failed me after doing too many reps with a measly 70kg. It was, without a doubt, the worst gym workout I've ever had.
What can I do to increase both my deadlift and strengthen my grip?

most I did was 385lbs.. Now I hurt my sciatic nerve and its not going to well. I can't squat or pull... Plus I was at the last week of my 12 weeks program, was going for PR. It sucks.

On the other hand, did a 300lbs PR on bench, today is 250lbs 2x5. wish me gl. Should be easy tho.

Do more deadlifts

None of the above, the jar would float off you fucking retard.

okay brainiac
but what if the flies were sitting under the lid, the jar had no air in it and the flies would all fall down at the same time
what would the scale show if your mama stood on it?
400lbs 500lbs potato?
