Why is America such a shithole compared to all other first world countries? There is no reason all our east coast and midwest cities aren’t connected other than the auto industry lobbying against public transit. In my experience most people would love public transit, if not for the public. Other first-world countries don't have the demographics we do, so things are more feasible.
