Modern Romans?

Which region of Italy would the closest descendants of the Romans reside?
One of the Northern regions? Or still Lazio?

I'm ruling out terronistan because an Abo is probably closer to a Roman than a shitscilian or niggerpolitan.

I vaugely remember some Italians saying terroni shat up Rome and thus it might not be the case anymore.

>Sardina
I thought they were an incredibly old race, quite distant from tge rest of Italy?

Black people, u whitey stealed our heritage and manipulated history to make it look like that the ancient romanz were whitey n shit, they were black skinned !
Julius Caesar was BLACK, Roman citizens were BLACK, leggioaries were BLACK BVLLS that conquered whitey celtic/germanic trash and raped their women with the powerful BBC !

Respect.

that's true indeed, I meant that it is isolated enough that some roman blood from those times might have preserved.. they colonized it after all

It is. Modern Sardinians are definitely close to the island's ancient population, but distant from both the rest of modern-day Italy and ancient Rome. They largely descend from the pre-Indo-European Nuragic people.

Never said it wasn't.

>I meant that it is isolated enough that some roman blood from those times
Ah. Ok, that makes sense.

fuckin macaco

No it doesn't. Latins were indo-europeans with significant steppe ancestry. Genetic tests show that sardinians have almost 0 indo-european ancestry, so they were also isolated from these romans.
Orthodox is more greek than roman.
