It'll start with big viewership, I think that's a certainty as a consequence of marketing and the name. But will it sustain? The actual Tolkien fanbase seem hostile, due to the flagrant liberties taken with the world. I expect *some* changes in adaptation, but negrelves and dindwarves and so forth is flagrantly against the text and spirit of the works (even if I wasn't suffering from the Fatigue, which I am).

Now we're looking at where the real money is I.e. streaming services, add on Canada, the UK, Europe and everywhere else, the normalfag 18-35 and kids + boomers and that's an incredibly easy number. Amazon TV has over 150M subs in the US alone.
