The order for K2 tanks has been divided into two stages. In the first, Poland is to buy 180 tanks - deliveries will begin later this year, while the second stage is for more than 800 tanks to be brought up to the K2PL standard and for production to begin in Poland in 2026. The tanks delivered in the first phase are also to be brought up to the K2PL standard.

The purchase of K9 self-propelled howitzers has also been divided into phases. The first assumes the acquisition of 48 howitzers, some of which will come to Poland this year to fill the gap left by the equipment transferred to Ukraine. Deliveries of a further 600-plus howitzers are to begin in 2024, with the guns to be produced in Poland from 2026. Not really, Leopard 2PL (our current MBT) weighs about 60t and K2 Black Panther around 55t. It's yet unknown how much K2PL Wilk will weigh. My guess is around 60t as well.
