Once the political and business elites looted America and distributed its wealth overseas, it was over. If things go south, they can easily escape now and leave the country destitute as it’s credit tanks and all the financial capital is pulled into Swiss bank accounts which they will use to fund their new overseas golem elsewhere. It’s objectively over because Americans can no longer hold woke capitals feet to the fire and threat them with strikes or boycotts, they will just go somewhere else cheaper and more servile.
