it's not a better world though. because of the half-ass measures that leftists use; like biden just refusing oil leases, squeezing refineries out of business with regulatory capture and clamping down on the environmental laws on the books; we don't end up getting green, walkable cities surrounded by robust wilderness. we don't get clean water or air or healthy children, and we certainly don't get sustainability or energy independence.
instead we get status quo, with all of us driving 30 minutes to work with non-renewable fossil fuels from our non-walkable, not-green communities; except now it's more expensive. it's exactly the same except it costs more to do it now.
