bump, why do actual threads about world politics get no replies while race baiting shit hits the limit
Nothing, Russia is unwilling to allow people to cash out rubles for gold and refuses to let gold leave the country. It's Fiat with the promise that gold is somewhere in the country, but you can never touch it even with appropriate amounts of currency to exchange.
I too would like to know some people's thoughts on this. Seems like it has massive implications
FRN goes poof
it's nyot really backed so t-to speak. it's wocked t-to t-t-the pwice of gold. 5000 wubwes pew gram.
yea i hear they are only buying it
does russia have enyough gold t-to do so!?
you say that, but the larger the gold reserve a country has the better value its currency gets
as long as they don't print more money than they buy in gold of course
Nothing really.
What backs up an economy are prduction, self-sufficiency, strong tech and military sector, good relations with major partners who if posible are relient on your domestic products that are Tangable products.
Above all, the People, a nation is only as strong as it's people are.*****************
If it eventually reaches the point of actually being backed by gold, the appeal as an exchange/reserve currency would be obvious, considering they are also militarily well positioned.
But of course nobody expects this to happen without a huge war dragging in everybody invested into the current satanic infinite debt system.
so basically they can increase the value of their currency by buying gold?
It will cause the Rouble to stablize, thereby insulating it from economic factors as its value is no longer based on the economic output of Russia.
There is also a potential for already heavily sanctioned states to connect their currencies to the Rouble for greater stability. Out of fear of western reprisals this will most likely be exclusive to countries like Iran, North Korea, Belarus etc...
Such a move may work out for the Russians seeing as they have massive gold reserves. You will still see massive issues with corruption, access to capital markets, competitiveness, among other things within Russia

based
because its all pol cares about.
Somebody asked about the future of BRICS and its geopolitical influence and somebody just replied on the genetics/ancestry of the people instead. And of course the shizo retards replied to that comment the most and started debating whether one was white or a nigger or not completely derailing from conversation. Its hard to find any quality posts anymore that isn't just stupid debates about whos white, which person is a jew or not, which race gets the most women. Its all so tiresome.
Ok, it's either centralized physical gold or fucking electronic bitcoin.
You fucking faggot trend chasers need to decide now which currency is 'based' because this is mutually exclusive.
