They have to assume that there could be a serious reprisal if nations decided to gang up and respond to the Ukraine conflict. To that end, they have kept all their serious firepower in reserve and only used uninformed low quality conscripts for the conflict. They also get to see what the west will actually throw at them without risking their high value assets. Really all they have to do is be willing to lose some "national guard" and be made fun of. In the mean time they might gain Crimea and Donbas and Ukraine neutrality.

I feel like something akin to that will happen and it will come completely from left field, forcing our hand with no other option but to go all in and add fresh meat for the grinder in yet another war the kikes are clamoring and frothing at the mouth for.
