Would Russia Being Locked Out of Swift Mean a Lockout of OTC Stocks and MOEX?

If Russia is suspended from SWIFT does that mean Russian stocks are dead in the water including MOEX?

Irrelevant. Global fiat economy about to colapse, and after that it's all going to be about RESOURCES, which Russians got plenty of - more so with Ukraine. They can literally become self-sufficient if they so desire.

The future of SWIFT has already been decided you stupid mutt.

Might lose European gas market, but SWIFT is unlikely.

No, you're mostly buying ADRs. They're shares held at depository banks outside Russia.

Russia already is self-sufficient. As the recent energy crisis in Europe has illustrated, it is the west that needs Russia and not the other way around.
All this talk of EPICALLY DESTROYING LE ROOSKIES with sanctions and a SWIFT ban is nothing but hubris. Hubris will be the death of the entire western world.

I think Russia have lot of other cards to play in that case. Like the balics, maube take a piece of Finnland. Or maybe take Moldova

Fucking Hubris

If that were so, Russia would have shut down all trade with the EU years ago. Yet they are not doing it, and are trying to LEVERAGE gas dependency instead.
Russia will have to tighten its belt. By a lot.

Furthermore, do you think China is going to participate in western economic sanctions? Of course they won't. Sanction Russia all you want, they have a strong domestic economy (less reliant upon foreign goods) and they'll still have China to trade with even if America and its little minions in Europe decide to sanction them.
