The only reason they got caught is because MT anime exposed them but yea they better watch out considering it’s very likely the series is getting a full adaption

Genuine question, MTniggers hating on seven seas is such a meme that I can't imagine there aren't EOPs merely parroting that meme every time they speak. I ask you this because you also have opinions on the other publishers.

Also MT has 2 translators and some of the terms they use have no consistency.
Koestl is mostly solid. The guy’s sorta famous when back from the VN scene but the other one idk it’s hit or miss. It’s great they have 2 translators in terms of speeding up the releases but still there’s nothing wrong with pointing out the faults of seven seas.
If MT wasn’t a popular and respected series when it comes to narou and fans didn’t say anything I’m sure they wouldn’t even bother revising and fixing the old vols.

Lmao, if anyone's being defensive here it's you. Your entire post is cope based off of a single redditor news article to justify your stance against a single publisher. I'm just trying to be impartial here, though I try to keep my bias against MT being trash on its own in check, and from what I can tell cross referencing raws casually all publishers are equally shit in their TLs.
People only cared because as EOPs had a frame of reference you literally only have a sample size of one. The user I replied to obviously spoke with the intent to boycott seven seas for a single news article, and only made up some shit for the other publishers to give himself an air of objectivity and authority, but I still wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt.

However I can vouch for the official translation which I saw before was very meh I’ll give you an example I also posted in the past threads:

When Rudy first wakes up in six sided world in chapter 1 of the LN this is what he thinks of Paul in the LN raw.

Here’s the translation of the LN

“He looked strong and proud, with impressive musculature. Brown haired and stubborn looking? I ought to have reacted negatively the instant I saw this big oaf-but to my surprise there was no feeling of ill will. His hair must have been dyed that color. It was a very fetching shade of brown”

This is so wrong what was the actual cause of this change? Let’s see shall we:

Japanese text says: that it’s probably because his hair WASNT dyed brown and that it was a natural beautiful brown color which means Rudy didn’t associate Paul with delinquents which is why he didn’t react negatively to Paul.

Anyhow it’s already clusterfuck from the beginning so they probably had many mistakes here and there. No idea if they fixed these too though.

Classroom of reddit has awful translations, even after the revisions.
