Been rewatching Ghost in the Shell: SAC recently, and the quality is absolutely astounding...

If you are satisfied with 6 it just show how low we've fallen should I bet one or two of those are isekai?
Can't blame it all on school setting after all.
Here's another pitch for a new GitS: a schoolgirl or boy, who care at this point is isekaied in a cyberpunk world, wake up as a super-cyborg with cheat abilities.

The movie? Maybe, the show? I doubt so.

Don’t hurt my feelings.

it's actually boring
dont know what people saw in this

No they dont, gen z otaku dont know what this is, too serious for em

This was produced during the golden age of anime. Now we are no longer in the golden age.

The production cost was 800 million yen. Also, don't forget it originally aired on pay-per-view, 2 episodes each month.

>How come we don't get anime like this anymore?
nobody wants to take their time with anything. nowadays I don't even watch most anime, I'll give the first two episodes a shot then drop basically the whole season for being uninteresting.
At least we got Sonny Boy and To Your Eternity recently.

I wasn't aware SAC was made in the 80s bubble economy and released on LaserDisc

Second GIG was better.
