We get anime of SAC's kind all the time, they're just live-action English-language anime called "CSI clones." Because that's all SAC is.

The production cost was 800 million yen. Also, don't forget it originally aired on pay-per-view, 2 episodes each month.

nobody wants to take their time with anything. nowadays I don't even watch most anime, I'll give the first two episodes a shot then drop basically the whole season for being uninteresting.
At least we got Sonny Boy and To Your Eternity recently.

We literally got the second half of a sequel series to Stand Alone Complex like three months ago.
