this, i pretty much only study vocab and infer grammar

I am trying to make my own Anki deck for Spanish.
It is intended to be purely in Spanish and work through definitions and expanations of the word in question.

Should I put the main word of the card on the front or back?
Basically should I first read the word and then try to know what it means or have the definition pop up first and then guess the word from it.

What is this question? You're not reading definitions when you're reading a book, user. You're reading the word itself. Of course you should put the word on the front.

>the definition of a word
you fookin mad yeah BRUV???????

Ĉu estas multe da lerniloj/verkaĵoj skribitaj per Solresol? Mi konas preskaŭ nenion pri ĝi krom tio ke ĝi estas "la muzika lingvo".

Ne multe, sed sufiĉe da lerniloj por iu kiu volas simple lerni pri la lingvo sen celi akiri plene ĝin.

What about understanding your native language but not being able to speak it or even write, while being able to speak another language better but can't understand as easily?

even if you know grammar sometimes you can't infer the meaning of some phrases, expressions or prepositions
