About to watch these movies, what am I in for?
Caleb Bailey
Angel Morris
Garbage, don't waste your attention.
Ethan Cook
the best star wars movies
Cameron Cooper
VII is competently made but sterile and creatively bankrupt
VIII is very messy but has some interesting ideas even if not fully realized
IX is just shit all around
Anthony Kelly
Soulless but the lightsabers look cool
Christopher Garcia
The first one is just a generic big budget Disney movie, entertaining enough to be passable
The second one is the only good one, it had a lot of stupid shit in it but it’s the only movie Disney has put out since Wall-E with some interesting ideas in it. Actually took some risks
The third one is one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen. The Last Jedi basically wraps up the plot anyway and is a much better conclusion so you can skip this one. The rise of skywalker has the worst pacing I’ve ever seen in a film
Leo Kelly
regret, do not watch
Joshua Diaz
they're pretty good if you like star wars :3
Jordan Ward
so underwhelming i cant be bothered to pirate the third one for free.
Nicholas Sanchez
VII is a pretty exciting start to *something*
that VIII throws out and does something else with
and IX tries to salvage what was left and shoe horns in as much stuff as possible to end on something at least
like many people will tell you, should probably just not watch them.
Gabriel Russell
this
Noah Nguyen
Hux is cute.
Nathan Cox
>The second one is the only good one,
>30 minutes scene of anti Capitalism explain
>Flying Leia
KILL. YOUR. SELF.
Ryder Cooper
The first one was a good start. The second is probably within the top 7 worse movies I've ever watched. The third was a good popcorn movie
John Moore
TLJ was so bad I stopped watching Star Wars all together
Owen Cox
>throwing out every plot point and character arc of the first movie is..LE GOOD
Elijah Hall
>The second one is the only good one
Thomas Myers
Boring plot and characters you won’t remember. Visually it looks like Star Wars.
Elijah Butler
Don’t.
Julian Nelson
Oh wow, fucking spot on
Christopher Davis
TLJ and TROS are the worst big budget films ever made. Transformers/late fast and furious tier
Jordan Cox
3 bad movies
also avoid the 3 prequel movies, which are bad as well
Kevin Long
100% agree lad
Landon Williams
Somebody that can explain to me how a movie with a 300 million dollar budget can look like this?
Kevin White
Actual good take
Cameron Rodriguez
1st is a soft reboot that plays it as safe as possible given how pissed off people were with the prequels. It isn't terrible but I can't honestly say it is worth watching
2nd one is the only one that actually tries creatively. It actually has a point to make and something to say. Unfortunately it doesn't really work outside of 1 or 2 moments. Plus there is a 25 minute sub plot in a casino which is unbelievably bad
3rd film is possibly the worst film I have ever seen
Overall, I wouldn't bother. You wont get anything from the 1st one, the 2nd one fails in what it sets out to do and the 3rd is just awful in every way but not in the so bad it is at least fun sense. Watch something else i'd say
Ryan Rodriguez
Transformers is awful but you can laugh at how terrible they are. TLJ and TROS are just pathetic and boring.
Christian Lewis
generally I'm all for movies that take some creative risks even if it doesn't fully pay off, but I hated TLJ.
I'll still say it deserves some respect for at least trying, but at the end of the day I unironically prefer and like The Force Awakens more, even if you're 100% correct in your descriptions of it.
IX was genuinely absolutely awful.
Leo Parker
Odd seeing this many people being right
