No that was shit too.
It's like someone saw Inferno, and said, "lets lets repeat the story but mix in a bunch of Garth Ennis bullshit into it.

say what you will about any of the hellraisers, at least they weren't as bad as the scarlet gospels

Wtf that sounds decent, I love Ennis. Unless you mean Crossed-tier Ennis?

Sounds good to me. Also it had some cool designs.

No, angels running around Hellraiser is retarded. One thing people hated was the ever pushing of the series towards the, what would you call it, Judaeo/ Christian version of Hell?

The Auditor was cool but he needed a better movie

What people?

most everyone agrees the first one is kino, everything after that becomes pretty hit or miss subjective kino.

I think the only really "bad" one was the one with Fat Pinhead. The middle ones get a pass because they were literally not Hellraiser movies.

Barker himself cemented that as canon when the aids got his brain.

Fans back in the day.

The Cenobites weren’t suppose to be from Hell in Christian sense. They we’re from another dimension

yeah, that was later. Originally, he hated shit like Inferno

another user already mentioned it but it was mostly barker himself who pushed the hell angle, i don't know why creatives always seem to lose it with age

>it's another "we have this random script. write a couple pages where pinhead shows up and call it hellraiser" episode

THE MOVIE IS SO FUCKING RETARDED
THEY'RE HUNTING A SERIAL KILLER WHO LEAVES BIBLE QUOTES
THEN ONE DAY THIS GUY JUST CASUALLY QUOTES THE BIBLE AND THAT'S HOW THE DETECTIVE KNOWS HE'S THE KILLER
FUCK THIS MOVIE

Even the angel, heaven politics thing not withstanding, the plot was reatrded. It was another story about a shady cop whos investigation brings him into contact with Pinhead and co. except now there's a dumb twist at the end.

Pinhead isn't even called by the box, now he can just kidnap people, since when?

Judgement is probably my third or fourth favorite Hellraiser movie. I didn't think Bloodlines was that bad compared to most of the other ones in the series. I didn't like the angel in this one, that part just across as corny. Maybe it was the acting of the actress but I thought it was good (for a Hellraiser) up until the angel part.

This one was crap mostly due to shitty production values, but the plot at least felt like it was trying to be a Hellraiser, with people feeding on blood and stealing skin and shit. Judgement was yet another unrelated thing that stapled Pinhead on at the last minute.

True, this one ignored the rules of the series and used the dirty cop thing plot device for the 4th or 5th time in the series.

Part 3 and 4 are forgivable for me. They're dopey but still have a lot of classic stuff in them. The straight to video ones are terrible.

Not to be a pussy but what was with all the bodily fluids in Judgement? Vomit and drinking spit and crap like that. I have no problem with gore, but it seemed like this one was actually trying to nauseate me. I kept waiting for a scene of Pinhead taking a shit in full detail.

do people ever say the second one is bad? i never saw any of these shits but the consensus is that 1 and 2 are great from what i've read

To be honest, the story for part two is pretty bad. It's just a lot of random stuff that happens.

But it kinda works, because (to be cliched) it kinda has that nightmare quality where you're following it but not really sure where anything is going. It's just tons of gruesome stuff.

It scared the shit out of me when I first saw it at 11, so take that as you will
