Looking to switch to a low power TDP for my day-to-day, the i3-12100 seems great for that?

if that's my best choice for $ to TDP, which of those motherboards should I get:

- msi pro b660m-e
- asrock h610m-hdv
- asrock b660m-hdv
- asrock phantom gaming 4

thanks, anons!

Why is the 3060 so damn based?

Any recommendations on cases? Or sites about them?

Fractal Design Pop Air

I like this case

Idiot.

Repost of When I built my PC I did so planning to upgrade the CPU with Zen 4. I didnt realize Zen 4 would be on a new socket or require ddr5. Would it be better to upgrade to a Zen 3 X3D or just a better Zen 3? Anything else worth upgrading?

>TL;DR: I'd like to spend ~4-500 on a GPU that will actually fit in my case

I built a PC a long long time ago and it lasted until last year. I wouldn't say I play games like I used to, but the 970 has been amazing, I honestly can't believe it's survived as long as it has. Everything is new except the 970 and the PSU, which I'm also surprised has lasted as long as it has. The motherboard needs another pin which the Corsair PSU doesn't have and the case is a little cramped but so far so good.

Any GPU and PSU recommendations for someone who messes with a little photography, some video editing and casually plays shit like Chivalry, single player RPGs and the occasional FPS?

I'm looking to spend around $450 and was thinking the PowerColor 6700XT but it might be too big and possibly overkill for my purposes.

What is the best alternative to Noctua?

Is undervolting really a thing? I thought people liked pushing their PC to the limits of their electrical output.

>buy Fractal Design Meshify C Tempered Glass ATX Mid-Tower Computer Case
>buy XFX Radeon RX 6900 XT 16 GB Speedster SWFT 319
>Case maximum GPU length 315mm
>GPU length 340mm
I fucked up... it won't fit bros. I fucked up. Now I have to either get a new case and take everything out I spent hours on cable managing and all this bullshit, or return the GPU and get a shorter one or a lower tier card. I'm so mad I dunno what to do.

>buying a pluton CPU
>ever
Seriously, don't do this.

Dynatron

And yet they both have the garbage 3060 and reddit filenames.
You won't get out of this blatant lie low IQ fanboy, you spammed these threads and you're not even being subtle about it

>I thought people liked pushing their PC to the limits of their electrical output.
You're doing exactly that though? Instead of hitting a clock limit, you're hitting a efficiency limit. You can even combine the two so you get a overclock with a undervolt.

how is pluton any different from IME?
also meteor lake is going to have Pluton if Raptor Lake doesn't.

My quad NIC just arrived lads.
