>permanently destroys years of your drive's life span with a known bug that was pushed to a stable release and hasn't been patched for weeks
Do freetards really?
>drive lifespan
>torrenting on an SSD
for what purpose
>my $90 HDD lasts 8 years instead of 9
oh no, im furious
>Do freetards really?
As opposed to those proprietary clients that aren't obvious malware?
>13tb of torrents
its time to grow up
13tb is grown up enough.
Transmission doesn't have this problem.
I'd like to use that but the webui is shit
Use the Remote GTK Client instead.
>hdd
>8 years
Yeah nah
>13 tb
Nothing is worth storing for this larp. 4tb at max maybe.
why would not I?
eat sand
that's what you get for not seeding
this is the person who cricitises your life choices when he sees you using a product he doesn't like/can't afford
Mine's like 15 years old, it's not that unimaginable
I think it's the other way around. This is the guy with the expensive products that calls others poor
>>permanently destroys years of your drive's life span with a known bug that was pushed to a stable release and hasn't been patched for weeks
qrd? I've been running this on an ssd
Because you're not actively using it, if you torrent very often and use you disk every day its lifespan is 6 years at best before you start seeing errors
I've used it daily. Booted Vista on it originally; switched it to storing games, torrents, and other shit; and now I use it for back-ups and VMs
Well you're lucky
>leaving 13tb of torrents open
it's not 2009 anymore
if you want to ratiowhore, use a fucking seedbox
You're right, it's not 2009 anymore and gigabit (or more) Internet is commonplace.
There's never been a better time to ratiowhore.
