how did they resolve?
The solution is complex
im thinking of buying an Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3 Notebook, Display 15.6" FHD, AMD Ryzen 5 5600H, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060, 512 GB SSD, RAM 8 GB for 899euros, is it a good choice?
I think its the cheapest 3060 here in italy amazon. my doubt is if i should wait for black friday to get a better offer
i will use it for gaming only, would like to play elden ring and other new games on high at 60fps, 3070 too expensive and 3050 i think its weak for that
Honestly I'd buy a desktop for gaming if I were you, a gaming laptop is really only good for video editing and rendering on the go or other shit like that. You'll cook that thing by playing any AAA releases on it.
t. got a similar model and need a cooling pad if I play any slightly heavy usage game
The night adopted him.
Not him but I need laptop for ue5. Do you know any laptop that wont burn down my house while using it
bruce is a zombie
how do I post code snippets on this site, long time lurker but I have a code question in another thread.
...
ty im so stupid I overlooked that every day
hey thats what this thread is here for
Is my internet connection going to be slower if I use an ethernet adapter compared to what it would be without the adapter?
is there a way to format the downloads in soulseek?
I want it to create a folder like {ARTIST} / {ALBUMNAME} so I can just drag that shit to my music folder directly and not have to create / look for the correct folder to copy paste to
A laptop 3060 won't do 1080 at 60 FPS, definitely not at high settings and in that chassis.
Also, 8 GB RAM is barely enough for web browsing, you'll have to close all other programs when launching a modern game.
All types of networking happen through an adapter. There's a small difference between PCIe and USB, you won't be getting 40 Gbit/s through an USB adapter.
so, the whole ethereum merge thing is going to have 0 positive impact on gpu prices won't it?
Why you say that?
It's additional pressure. They're already having a hard time keeping prices up, and they've got a lot of volume to move, commitments they made when demand was high they can't back out of.
I have two questions, please bare with me: Will GPU prices actually fall after the merge has happened or is it all speculation? Why isn’t AI porn a thing yet compared to the high-ish quality that normal art AI’s are now capable of? I would have expected the porn industry being the forefront of this particular technology, but apparently not.
>high-ish quality that normal art AI’s are now capable of
Examples?
Here’s a few
Everything is always speculation. A lot of people who owned large numbers of GPUs shouldn't have any reason to anymore. It's a hardware investment that will only lose value over time. A lot of people selling may tip the used market, which may tip the new market. Some of this already happened earlier this year when crypto generally tanked.
