Instead of being worried about building a PC, I just bought a laptop.

thats okay not everyone can put together a lego kit

I like being able to game at work.

Because of AMD PSP spying, I'm going with Intel for my next workstation.
Are i7s or i9s generally the better value for money?

Why? Intel has IME which is the same as PSP.

amd has pluton now which is worse than psp or me

kino

How is it any different from TPM inside both Intel and AMD CPU

Because PSP is worse, especially on the upcoming chipsets.

I have the stupidest question ever. How am I supposed to mount an internal SSD? Is there like a rack or something? I still have my old case that has racks for giant fucking HDDs so right now I just kinda laid my SSD on top of my DVD drive

Yo Any Forumsuys, I'm looking to abuse the amazon return policy and swap out my 2600X, 450 mobo and 3200hz 2x8 ram for basically an 550 mobo, 5600 and 4000hz 2x8 ram.
What doesn't convince me is the mobo, this Biostar B550MH is a good motherboard to use the full potential of a RX6600 + 5600? Also I plan on using the AMD wraith, probably with some underclock or PBO ECO for better temps instead of the 400.
Any comment is welcomed, thanks you fags.

How is it worse when it acts the same as IME as in it's always running even when your PC is otf

you can mount it with a one screw inside a 3.5 drive bay, or you can buy a 3.5 to 2.5 adapter

Pluton.

How is it any different from TPM

Seems silly to buy a piece of metal that only serves to make the thing bigger
I'll probably go get some screws when I get another internal drive

Depends on what type of SSD it is.
If it's a 2.5" SSD then:
1) Mounts for them somewhere on the bottom of the case, or around the back.
2) An adapter that will fit the 2.5" SSD on it, then the adapter into a 3.5" drive cage.
3) It will probably still be able to be attached by one or two screws (or a screw on the bottom) into a 3.5" drive cage.
4) Just use double sided velcro, ssd's weigh nothing and aren't impacted by vibration, so you can secure them easily with tape or blue-tack or velcro.
5) Leave it in the bottom of the case or in an empty drive cage, as long as nothing will interfere with the cables.
If it's a matchstick m.2 drive then the motherboard will have specific slots for it.

This is good, but there is no fucking way that you should be buying HDDs online. Go to a store.

How come? What's wrong with HDDs online shopping?

>quad slot GPUs
I'm unironically excited - I love how big they are.

The real smart play is waiting for desktop-grade ARM CPUs to become commercially available. Pluton spyware can get fucked.

Tyrone the shipping man will beat up your hard drive.

Because any disruption on their way to your house will fuck with how it works pretty easily.

Wow, that's news to me. Thank you boys.
So just to be 100% sure, the Biostar mobo is legit? Always had an Assr(c)ock Mobo so this is the first time going for something different.

has bad rep, but its lottery with every vendor
