There are three main categories of linux distros
Classic: all modern distros that use a binary repo with a package manager, only differences between them are the defaults and how quickly the repos are updated and what they include.

Functional package management: NixOS and GuixSD are the only ones, they use a fundamentally different way of managing packages and both have the ability to compile from source automatically if no binary is available and avoid all dependency issues by design.

Source based: what it says on the tin, gentoo and Slackware are the most notable.

Debian, Ubuntu and openSUSE are all you need
