I think the entirety of the internet should only be used for the purpose of education. Porn sites, image forums, anything on YouTube that isn't educational, it all goes. We lose nothing, and gain everything by doing this.

This hasnt been a free speech site in a very long while. As for presidents for censorship they were all done long ago. Some of which likely by this very site. The death of this site in no way makes the internet better. If anything its just another place destroyed for not thoroughly conforming to the prison like place some powerful people wish the internet to be.

Not at all. This is not a free speech site however it retains a degree of liberty. Hell even in most prisons there is a degree of liberty. Its just rather minuscule. Limited to extremes.
Here there is more liberty than the majority of places elsewhere online. While that isnt anything resembling freedom it is a win against many other major sites by comparison.
Think of the old internet as the Olympics. Being the best meant something impressive. Well the modern internet is the special Olympics. Even if you get a high score the whole situation is retarded. Better to have the good from among the bad though.
This isnt a holdout from the old internet. Its something greatly distorted from its original form. Its Any Forums in name mostly.
Still its better than what some would have the internet be and its existence a loss for all simply because while not as pure as it once was it is still a rare unicorn.
