There literally cannot be anything more lightweight than Chrome OS

12.5 hours battery
Weighs almost nothing
Runs Android apps
Runs Linux applications, hell it has a terminal built in

You can boot up a Chromebook plus, open terminal and type "sudo apt-get install libreoffice" or whatever and boom it works.

I spent ALMOST 15 YEARS attempting to make a lightweight laptop with Linux that works fully and is not janky with whatever distro I was obsessed with at the time, and fucking Google made it work better.....

My windows does that with winget

macOS does it better. I couldn’t use chromeOS for more than 20 minutes.

HAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHA

Oh wait you're serious

HAHAAHHAHAHAHAHHHAAHHAHHAHHHHAAHAHHAHHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHHAHAAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHHAAHAAH

It's actually based on Gentoo

>My windows does that, at least it did when the battery was new
Brainlet detected. Chromebooks are cheaper and consistently have more battery life than equivalently priced windows devices. You completely missed the point so bad I hardly doubt the rest of your post will be any better.

Lol called it.

This post was such an epic fail that I'm convinced a GPT bot wrote it.

But can it run Crysis?

especially with the corporate wallpaper op is using lol

>Best buy sells grandmother shitty Lenovo with a 2c2t 1.1GHz Celeron, 2GB of RAM and 32GB soldered eMMC storage with Windows on it
>Windows can't update because 32GB isn't enough even with nothing on the computer

>No worries I'll install another drive and boot from that
>Stupid fucking laptop has a place for an M.2 connector but the cheap bastards never soldered one on.

>No worries I'll use ChromeOS Flex.
>ChromeOS doesn't recognize trackpad, otherwise runs well

>Well, I guess I'll use Linux Mint.
>Everything works immediately.
>Computer is significantly faster than ChromeOS or Windows
>Estimated battery life is 10-20% higher than ChromeOS and double Windows.

Take the Mint pill.

mint is depcreated

This, my Ideapad 1 gets crazy good battery life and it runs Chrome just as well as my 5900X gaming desktop. It's so well optimised.

Your grandma is not able to use mint.

ChromeOS Flex right?
cloud.google.com/blog/products/chrome-enterprise/chromeos-flex-ready-to-scale-to-pcs-and-macs
can you rice it

Why not? It's literally the same shit.
Normies use OS as a bootloader for web browser anyway.

Nope just a plain old Lenovo Ideapad Chromebook.
The ricing is just dark mode and light mode, and wallpaper choices, it's not that customisable but imo the interface looks pretty damn good out of the box.

>12.5 hours battery
this guy's operating system is so good that it has it's own battery
Linux status: BTFO'd

Can someone explain to me how Google is able to get away with making ChromeOS proprietary when it's based on Gentoo?
>inb4 ChromiumOS
Not the same

Op can't handle the truth faggot detected
Mac lasts even longer with chromebook based usage
You can make laptop longer like Chromebook by making power usage similar to Chromebook CPUs
There is arm manjaro pro laptop with similar battery life, price and perf to common chromebooks
I've used Chromebooks before but you are shilling Chromebooks to much and badly
