Is m0nkrus reliable? Safe?

Is m0nkrus reliable? Safe?
I've become extremely paranoid regarding pirated software and the potential of trojans or dormant malware. But I will not pay for Adobe Creative Cloud. FOSS alternatives are not sufficient, either.
It seems the general consensus is that m0nkrus and his releases are safe but it strikes me as odd how simple and easy it is to install. As well as one or two recent reddit posts (I know) claiming that, after installing m0nkrus adobe releases, they had their passwords, banking information, etc. stolen.
What is the OFFICIAL and TRUE Any Forums consensus on m0nkrus?

Pidorussian repacker, just use the most safest way how to crack adobe by yourself

Well what would that be? I've heard people make the same claims of information being stolen from GenP. That's the only modern "DIY" patcher I'm aware of.
I've considered going back in time and using an older CC edition or even CS6 and using the old SNR patcher 2.0 by PainteR but I'd lose out on hardware acceleration since I use newer AMD hardware so that would suck.
Seems like there's no winning since nobody has done a real audit on m0nkrus' stuff.

just run and install it in a sandbox if you're so afraid

>they had their passwords, banking information, etc. stolen.
oh good, so literally not my problem since my windows boot doesnt go online, let alone typing passwords for sites. if i need adobe stuff for my dual boot setup, this sounds relatively safe, not that i need it since i do everything on gnu/linux and windows is there only for games

>has done a real audit on m0nkrus' stuff.
I mean he doesn't do anything related to cracking, not a single crack, it's just a shitty compilation/repack (and what he's doing to windows is just hell)
So there may well be two layers of zero-day malware from him and others crackers
So if you're worried about GenP, just use a sandbox or a KVM with a passthrough.

Run it in a VM, problem solved.
It's not like you're gonna be editing anything intensive if you can't pay for it.

Lmao, this is one of the few times it pays off to be poor. I have so little money it's not even worth robbing me.

I just recently pirated 6 different adobe programs from m0nkrus and I don't even really use them. I just assumed they were safe because they were available on the private trackers I'm on and nobody reported them for malware. Except for After Effects, there seems to be some genuine trojan fuckery going on there, but the consensus is pretty 50-50. I just bit the bullet and downloaded the latest (I think) version the other day, I'm tired of waiting.

Anyway, I don't know what OS you're on, but the Windows 11 security is so tight I'd be surprised if there was really undetected third party malware to that extent running in the background without you noticing at least SOMETHING going on. So far I haven't seen anything, and while I am very poor I do occasionally use Paypal on this computer. So far nothing has happened to me. Obviously go for versions that have been uploaded at least a couple months ago, read the comments, helps to be on a private tracker, etc

Sorry, can't help you then. Have fun being part of some chinks botnet unless you want to blow money on proprietary software because it has a "free talent" button you don't fucking need on it.

If my memory serves me right m0nkrus is a repacker, not a cracker.
Anything of his you install has a chance of infecting your machine if the source he got it from is untrustworthy.

From his site:
- I, m0nkrus, discovered a hidden feature to use the standalone Adobe installer for multi-installation, and PainteR "caught" the missing syntax to initialize it.
- The assembly was created on the basis of the Adobe standalone installer version 5.8.0.592, which is not available to the general public.
- From the installer, with the exception of the required minimum, the Adobe Desktop Common module is cut out, which is installed by the original installer without fail.
- From the installer, the Adobe Creative Cloud module is completely cut out, which is installed by the original installer without fail.
- The installer has been improved so that programs authorized using Adobe ID do not display a message about the end of the trial period.
Seems to me he claims that, at least in part, he's cracking it.

the m0nkrus Photoshop I installed runs at least 50% slower than any other cracked copy of photoshopped I've ever used. won't be using his repacks in the future I think

>than any other cracked copy of photoshopped I've ever used
Are you using the newest edition of Photoshop? And what "previous" version are you comparing it to? Are you running it on the same hardware you have always run it on?
I ask these things because newer versions of Photoshop are heavier than older versions, e.g. I can run CS6 with no issues on my laptop, CC2015 is a bit laggier and CC2022 is unusable. For context I patched the newer ones with GenP and the older ones with the PainteR patcher.
I don't think that's necessarily a m0nkrus exclusive issue, but maybe try patching manually with GenP. If it's still slow, it's just Photoshop. If it's faster that way, I raise my eyebrow at m0nkrus' release. But not until it's tested.

Yes that’s right. The Russian hackers cracked Adobe’s anti-piracy for free and are giving it to you for nothing in return. Don’t worry, the malware scan results are false positives.

is zlorigin malware too? i remember using in the past to play sims 2 since this game is abandonware and impossible to find

You jest but has anyone proven that any of the releases on m0nkrus' website contain malware?
Not that I could find. Every resource on r/piracy points towards it being understood as safe, the most comprehensive AV log posts were replied to by u/ilike2burn who does comprehensive analyses of AV software and, notably, false-reports.

Assume any pirated software you can't hash-verify is a crypto miner.

I can "verify" the hashes of what I download from m0nkrus against the hash that he has provided.
That doesn't seem like it'll do very much to assuage any concerns seeing as how the software is pre-cracked with the Creative Cloud functions removed, so the hash isn't going to match the original product from the get-go.
