Heavier weight oil will help with the worn bearings and looser tolerances your engine has developed from such high mileage. It also takes it that much longer to work its way out of the engine.
Automakers spec the lightest grade oil they can get away with in order to hit power output and mileage figures. Plus your engine is well worn.
In my opinion zero weight oil has no place in any engine.
