I am been tracked?

Hey anons. Recently I have been receiving some strange sms. Two in particular caught my attention. The first one tried to appear as if the sender wrote the wrong number.
>It was a women and she apologized for writing the wrong number.
>I quickly established some small conversation and she asked my name and location.
>She tells me her name. Hi user nice to meet you my name is coco.
>I told her my province(leafland), and some random nickname.
>After that I stopped talking to her even though she keep continuing the conversation.
The next day I received another message this time from an asian women from Singapore who also happens to have entered the wrong number.
>Laura here. Sorry for entering the wrong number.
>She also send me a pic of her face which I tried to reverse search(didn't got any results).
>I also did establish some conversation, the first thing she ask me was "in which part of (user's province) are you rn? ".
I was kinda suspicious since I never told her my province before. Sure, you can easily find that if you lookup the area code in the phone number, but I don't think any normal person would do that. I don't think any normal person would just tried to lookup the area code to figure out where are you from.
>Next, she told me she was from Singapore and moved to Toronto
>The most interesting part was the fact that her phone number was actually from Florida Miami which really far away from Toronto. I checked the area code number.
>Next she was asking mine name, my age, and if I have ever been to Toronto. >She told me she was going to my province next month. I told her another nickname and some random age.
>Then I confronted her about the fact that she knew I was living in X province.
>She told me she had a friend over there, that was her reasoning.
>Didn't believed so then I mentioned if she was ever in Miami
>She said yes and then I told her she move from Miami to Toronto
>After that she stop me messaging me.
Any thoughts?

I will post the picture of the asian women and the logs of the sms if there is enough interest.

DO IT

Guess now that the dating apps have slowed down the catfish scammers have branched out to blanket sms texts. Sounds much more reasonable to ask for travel money for someone "in Provence" than a $1000 plane ticket.

>some random ass lady texts the wrong number
>op immediately gives her his name and location down to the province
???????????

There are 0 people in singapore called Laura.
>t. Singaporean

It wasn't my real name. Plus my province is really big anyways.

Here is the pic of the lady just in case.

It's a man

we are tracking and coming for you
we know what you've been doing

Everybody gets these kind of messages. And everybody is being tracked but not by the scammers sending such messages. No fed would have such sloppy work, almost surely a pajeet.

>not having all of calls and sms messages from outside your contacts blocked automatically
>giving your name and location to random people
do americans really

>itoddler
lmao

That's just a con where the scammers try to strike up some affection and eventually abuse the romantic trust to make you "invest" in a fake buttcoin marketplace, then run away with the money. Look up "pig butchering scam" if you're interested.
>Sure, you can easily find that if you lookup the area code in the phone number, but I don't think any normal person would do that. I don't think any normal person would just tried to lookup the area code to figure out where are you from.
That's probably because someone or something leaked your personal data (intentionally or not) into one of those scammer databases and that's why you got those messages in the first place, the scammers then say they're totally coming to your area in an attempt to make you thirsty for a totally existent booty call.

Where do you think I got my phone number leaked? I checked Ihavebeenpwned but I didn't find my phone number over there. Any ideas where I can find a database for this kind of stuff?

thats a man

I never give it my real name and my province is fucking big anyways

>he doesn't know
In your province of Ontario there's only four cities that matter: sure you might be living in the middle of nowhere but my bet is you live in Toronto or Ottawa
Just because you live in a big province doesn't mean you're not easy to track. If I tell you I live in Michigan (which BTW I can fuck you up mate it's only a hour drive) you can safely deduce I live in Detroit

>I live in Detroit
my condolences

I mean "technically" I don't live in Detroit, just the metro Detroit network. This translates to me living around couple miles away from nigger streets, but my own street is nice. Too bad there's a bunch of Arabs here

Who the fuck told you I am in Ontario? She said she was from Ontario, not me. I live in one of the praries province in the middle of nowhere.

yes
it's good for watching anime and porn
>being attracted to 3d women
do americans really
they could spam a range of numbers till they get a response
oh, and the phone number can be spoofed completely, there are no checks against that
skype, for example, can spoof calls so that they appear as if they came from
your phone number after confirming that it belongs to you
a lot of online voip services don't need such confirmation so they might call politicians from your phone number and get you into trouble

scammers do this to get as much personal information (and then money for the truly gullible) out of coomers as possible
you already replied so you're on some sort of list 100% you dumbass, don't be surprised if you get constant spam from now on

I was curious anyways, and none of the info I gave it(besides the province) was correct. The worst thing will happen will be just more spam.

It was ayys. They want to kidnap you.
