Do you miss 2012?

Personally, I think 2007 was the last good year, with 2008-2009 being the last acceptable years, but I've noticed a lot of millennials now are posting nostalgia for the early 2010s. I guess I can see where they're coming from, iPhones weren't as common, and people were slightly friendlier to each other, but idk. In late 2009 I already felt like we were in a new era.

ray leaving achievement hunter was the beginning of everything dying.

Btw, the Derpina fanart people have been drawing recently is surprisingly hot. Who woulda thunk a fucking rage face would make good porn.

...

Honestly I think Twitter was the official start of the downfall. Around 2006/7.

Reddit is full of losers and nerds, but they at least admit they're terrible.

Twitter is filled with the dumbest and worst that humanity has to offer and they all think they're geniuses. And when they can't effectively communicate it turns into an argument. That has spilled into every facet of our culture.

bump

the internet culture is what ruined everything. I mean ironic posting this on Any Forums but at least Any Forumstards dont ruin citizens lives for political gain. Hell when Any Forums used to do affermitive action it was always against the establishment meanwhile twitter mobs support the establishment and ruin a small business for not pledging to BLM. Tweating all lives matter instead of black lives matter is hate speech to those wackos

Fuck off. You think I'm gonna read that? Fuck off.

Then why did you reply to this thread, asshole?

I'll do what I want, retard.

Stop living in the past man.

everyone is nostalgic for when they were around 14-16. it's when everything is new and shiny and you don't know about all the shitty parts yet.
half of folks go on from there to live horrible sad lives, and spend all their time looking back wishing they still had the shiny "anything can happen" circumstances of their youth.

Any Forums was filled with nerds and losers back then too but wasn't gripped with nearly as much self-hatred and was a-okay with how terrible they were. Nowadays this place is filled with normies, semi-normies and self-loathing nerds who worship normies because they're 30+ and crying about now getting their dicks wet in high school(or ever).

Kinda hard not to when the present sucks and the future only promises to be worse.

>but at least Any Forumstards dont ruin citizens lives for political gain
we have ruined lives arbitrarily and with no reason at all. lol.
>tweating
there's a group of people crying out "for the love of god we matter too, stop abusing us" and some cunt feels the need to weigh in from their unimpeded life with a "you aren't the only ones that matter, you know"
it's faggotry. you either know that and are being a smug faggot, or you don't because you're retarded enough to believe the bullshit smug faggots put out
which is it?

BTW wasn't the world supposed to end in 2012 ?

Yeah. That ironically might be why people find it so nostalgic now. It was kind of like the high people had right before Y2K, like people wanted to make the most of things before the supposed end. The last carefree time.

>we have ruined lives arbitrarily and with no reason at all. lol.
yes. an unbiased forced of anarchy. Chaotic evil is better then organized lawful evil
as for the tweating im more over referring to #xIsOver

07 was good yes. 2012 and up can suck dick. World became more connected and all the losers who sat at home with no hobbies or friends now have a voice. There was a reason a large number of faggots weren't invited to the parties, mall hangouts, smoke groups, ect.

>tweating
are you spelling this wrong on purpose. stop it.

twearking

brb, killing myself to avoid reading this

okay, back.

I'm not nostalgic for the times I was 14-16. I'm nostalgic for the late 90s/early 2000s, when I was a tween.

People were saying that in the fucking 50s.
It's not exactly a unique sentiment to have.

I do but just enough to not be living in the past diying in the present and not living the future

As a millennial, I have no nostalgia for the early 2010s. In fact, I have a huge disdain for that era. Everything I love in the late 90s/early 2000s either were replaced by worse shit, became shit or just stop existing.

yeah, same diff. you had no responsibilities and everything was peachy and keen. even if you home life sucked, there was all that feeling of opportunity out there.
you still have opportunity, just wrapped up in all the bullshit you've katamari'd since then

I hate the way we are going, towards authoritarianism and a corporate spy state/prison planet. I don't care much that "the past is gone", only that there's no future for me to look forward to other than one where I am in a concentration camp or reeducation center.
