You should focus on learning the basics with one character, maybe play against the CPU and learn from your mistakes.
Im not into it, but I know how to play and how the pieces move, it would be the same thing as playing SSF2 against me, why do you play that game, knowing that you cannot beat me? Do you have fun? Is it because you want to play with me? Why? The reason might be the same as to why Im willing to play chess with you.
Remember, all of this is not really necesary, if you dont feel like it or really arent that interested, you can just not do it.

Like I said, I wouldn't want to play just for the sake of beating you as I'm sure that's not the reason you play flash with me but if you really want to play a game I will, just to see your power level in any case.
