>buy $1200 laptop >start getting ads on my laptop to buy express VPN >notice express VPN was downloaded to my system when I bought it >disregard >get ads for mcafee
Lmao what the fuck is this shit, when did the modern PC become a Times Square billboard? Am I able to actually remove this shit or is it like Samsung where I can only “””disable””” bloatware?
haven't seen ads like that did you download the iso from microsoft.com or did you torrent it like a retard
Nathaniel Myers
I bought the laptop from best buy

Install LTSC or create a deblaoted version of windows. This is the most usefull thing you will ever do and most modern windows issues just disappear. I can't imagine not doing this anymore on new PCs.
Dominic Clark
Pre-built Windows machines have been like this since Windows Vista and Windows XP. Get a PC, not a WC (Windows Computer) Alternatively, just wipe the drive and reinstall Windows from scratch, if you're addicted to Windows.
Lucas Walker
are you this fucking zoomer? you stupid fuck kys faggot god damn i hate zoomer
Jaxon Long
Or new major versions.
Brody Hill
Wrong wrong wrong, PCs are windows computers the IBM PC came with MSDOS which is the descended of windows. This is why when people speak "coming to PC" or say "PC" they mean windows. Linux is seen as a separate and 3rd party system, if the IBM PC came with UNIX it would have been different.
And you'll still say your plastic laptop filled with ads is better than a MacBook
Carter Gutierrez
Why didn't you wipe it and do a fresh install? Quit being a retard.
Ethan Nelson
Are you underage? That's been a thing since XP. >unbox device >turn it on to see if the hardware works >format and clean install the OS afterwards And the same applies to phones by installing Lineage/Graphene to make them usable.
Jayden Wood
>unaware of os/2
Gavin Brooks
Which is dead.
Jackson Richardson
>buying a laptop and not formatting it right away
Jace Moore
The argument was about what gets to be called a pc And the answer is anything, only apple users are moronic enough to pretend its not a computer
They don't, they don't call it a PC. they call it a MAC which is a computer.
James Campbell
Tim what kind of software does your OS have?
Adrian Mitchell
>apple users agree their computer doesn't belong to them Seems fair
Cooper Hernandez
it doesn't come ootb filled with adware and bloatware that is the exclusive domain of wintoddlers Macs are designed with the end customer who buys them in mind unlike most PCs which gladly compromise the user experience for $2 per unit sold on ads, trialware and trashware
