Install LTSC or create a deblaoted version of windows. This is the most usefull thing you will ever do and most modern windows issues just disappear. I can't imagine not doing this anymore on new PCs.

Wrong wrong wrong, PCs are windows computers the IBM PC came with MSDOS which is the descended of windows. This is why when people speak "coming to PC" or say "PC" they mean windows. Linux is seen as a separate and 3rd party system, if the IBM PC came with UNIX it would have been different.
