Have you guys ever had a family member who began doing hard psychedelics? How did their personality change? I've had two, and I've noticed a similar pattern, i wanted to know if this pattern is more wide spread rather than isolated

Ive seen one family member go down this route, it ended with them in jail. Now another one is going down the same path in the early stages and I'm curious as to if this is a recurring pattern among people who take hardcore psychedelics. I know theres pattern to people who take other drugs like stimulants, but this is different, but there may still be a pattern. Your accounts will help connect the dots. I'm aiming to prevent violent outbursts and protect people

"Hard psychedelics" BAHAHAHA sounds like the cop who taught us D.A.R.E. in 5th grade. I can garentee your family members are doing ACTUAL hard drugs, not just the occasional enlightening mushroom trip. Your extremely isolated personal experiences can't discredit the literal hundreds upon hundreds of studies now showing the benefits of taking mushrooms and how, in a huge swath of the population, it can completely eliminate depression/anxiety. Look a little into what MAPS has done the last decade or so and you may change your tune. maps.org
taking psychodelics and abusing psychodelics are two different things.
In australia we call those people "fried" and they're exactly how you desribed. Overly spiritual, but disconnected with the world and very loopy. They're cognitive abilities are total dog shit but they believe they are on a higher plane of thinking (even though they can't properly express their ideas without sounding extremally generic and regurgitated) They talk about Ego death and no longer being conformed but end up being hyper obsessed with their image and how others perceive them. They talk about being an individual and different but dress in the same tye dye hippie bullshit from the 60's

I've done mushrooms, acid, 2cb, dmt, ketamine, bunch of weed n shit. I just do it for spiritual and recreational reasons, not medicinal. None of it has helped my depression.
taking 100ug-250ug of acid a handful of times, spaced out over months is one thing
Getting on multiple random tabs full of god knows what every weekend will fry your brain like it was bacon on the pan.
This is coming from someone that was spiked with Nbome and saw the rise of analog drugs hit the blackmarket.
Take what this dude says with a massive pinch of salt OP. Psychedelics can be therapeutic but not when you're abusing them

Uhh, well sure. They all go on about loving life and no longer being depressed, but they cram themselves full of drugs and at the first sign of stress and say how they hate drugs, but try to tell them to stop the drugs and they insist they know what they're doing
