And how did the 4 leaves logo come to be? What’s even the point of it?
Why is Any Forums called Any Forums?
>he doesn't know about 1, 2 and 3 chan.
Wait till he hears about 5, 6, 7, and 8 chan
moot named it after his favorite subreddit r/Any Forums
I dont remember how it works, testing

a long, long time ago, before moot had had enough and fucked off to who-knows where, there was a japanese image/textboard called 2chan, there's another one called 2ch but no one cares about 2ch
some teenager with an internet connection decided to fork the source code for it and here we are
futaba's logo is this two-leaved plant thing - and we've got a four-leaves clover. go figure - 2chan, Any Forums... get it?
holy shit it works! yay
Your fortune: ( ´_ゝ`)フーン
P sure its from some manga character or something. Some nerd shit
yotsuba!
Thats it, was on the tip of my tongue
it's a very cute manga, read it
You mean the 4 green hearts?
>there's another one called 2ch but no one cares about 2ch
Like how there is a 4channel that nobody cares about?
Many will lie to you here. But the truth is that it's 4 channels. 4 boards. It has expanded to more boards as of late but it used to be just 4, hence the name
M00t answers this in an interview with Hiro
That answer is wrong though
No it wasn't. It was originally two boards - Any Forums for anime and Japanese culture, Any Forums for everything else.
It's a play on 2ch/2chan which were named after TV channel 2.
The software that powered those boards is called "futaba" (two leaves), so m00t called his fork "yotsuba" (four leaves).
>m00t
>is wrong
You're wrong too. I don't know who this moota guy is tho
I was here when God spoke and created the he/a/ven and Any Forumsearth
Because moot stole the code from 2chan.
I always suspected it was a play on the word "fortune". Especially since it appears to have a four-leaf clover for a logo.
Apparently I was completely and totally wrong.
Newfags, sunmerfags, and edgelords everywhere
Its actually a combination of the words "forch" and "an"
What do these words mean? They are a mystery. And so is Any Forums.
