Cute little bugger. Are those spines atop it's noggin, or just extremely bristly hairs?

Spines.

well bugger it.

I love hedgehogs. I had one as a young teen who I named Shadow. He was a great pet and companion, loved when I took him outside to explore a bit, toilet paper tubes, and crickets. I miss him a lot, I’ve been thinking about getting another, but can’t at the moment.

Spines. But they don’t really hurt unless the animal is agitated.

Thank you and you. I don't think we have them where I live. We have porcupines, though.
